That is a quote from Dr. Seuss! I just love that quote. Today I did not want the day to end! We had a great time at the DC Big Flea......I met Sue, Karla, Valita (sorry! I don't have her link!) and Coddy and her sister there. We all had to find each other by our descriptions....except for Karla....I knew what she looked like!
There were bargains to be had, but mostly things are just too pricey for my thrift store state of mind. I did manage to get some sweet bottle brush trees and shiny brite ornaments!
This vintage holly wreath was completely encrusted in glitter. karla picked it up several times but decided to pass since she'd have to jam it into a suitcase tomorrow for her flight home. She walked around the rest of the day with glitter speckles all over her!
Here is Valita making a purchase. This booth was one of many with vintage Christmas. This one had good prices!
Karla is paying for her sweet vintage treasures! She got some beautiful vintage greeting cards and a sweet little ornament here.
These were so sweet! Pine cone elves, and snowmen and little birds! See the one with th pink top hat? The pic didn't turn out well...in fact I was trying to hurry because I felt a little guilty about taking the picture. It was one of those moments when I thought..."gee, I could MAKE that!" a man walked by and said "you're cheating!"
These hat pins were just beautiful! They averaged $125.00 each! Such a sparkly display!
Of course my group picture did not turn out! A little old man took each of our cameras and took a picture for each of us. The one on my camera turned out blurry!
I had a wonderful time today girls! I hope we can do it again!
